The results form only a small portion of the full story, and don’t include the unusually choice news, particularly. but 'more may be assembledlater. ,Lt. Robert Stadler is stationed in San Francisco now, and has anarmy jeep^at his disposal, a type ofvehicle thsit has become common in West Coast cities since the war fame to the United States . . . Rex Brouillard,* with a signal corps outfit on the? East Coast only a few short. weeks, already is wondering, in letters* home, if hell be outward j bound on boat soon .... Bill Enfield of the marines has been put on recruiting duty recently and is now In the south .... Fr$d Litwin, in the medical corps, has been at Hot Springs, Ark., the past three months. He has been able to get home a ttee or two, and by this time likes the life “fine” .... Lyle Harvey, Kelley hotel employee until six weeks ago, is established in an assignment at the reception center at FOrt Leavenworth where he is expected to remain indefinitely . * • Julius Flippin, the county’s only colored selectee taken thus far, is in an engineering company at Camp Robinson I ... A brother. Gene Flippin, joined the navy last summer and has been aboard a vessel on the East Coast for sometime, but letters frOm him have stopped the oast few weeks.
