4—THURSDAY—MARCH 8, 1945Vets Are Guest Speakers Before New Haven RotaryNEW HAVEN—Guests of honor at the regular dinner meeting of the New Haven Rotary Cl»ib on Wednesday evening were Lieut. Robert Rushton and Cpi. Seorge Marquis.Lieut. Rushton, wno is spending 21-day furlough here with us parents gave a very interesting talk to the Rotarians. He las completed t5 missions in the Italian campaign and has been iwarded the Distinguished Fly-ng Cross, Silver Star, Air Medal with seven Oak Leaf Clusters and a Presidential Citation.Cpl. Marquis, who took part n the Leyte invasion was ser-ouslv wounded and is now visit-ng his mother Mrs. Mary Marquis.Mr. and Mrs Ralph Harm gpent the week end with their on Calvin at Fort Wayne, Ind. Vhile there they attended the -utheran Hour Rally on the oncordia College Campus. Tuesday evening dinner guests f Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jones were Mr. and Mrs Charles El-ingson and Mrs. Anna Wurm f Pontiac.Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kesner were guests Sunday of Mr. andMrs. Seymour Blakley at Birm ingham.Walter Froh spent the week end with his son.
