Port Hood,Campbell, sonbert Campbell. R- 1. Jasper, and Pfc, Franklin R. Kemp son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman F. Kemp, R. 1 Huutlngburg recently participated in a special ’ Army test exercise at Fort Hoocl.Purpose of the exercise was to test combat command experimental formations organizer! by the 1st Armored Division to adapt to the lat-concepts of atomic-age ground warfare.Campbell, a rifleman in Company C of the division’s 25th Armored Infantry Battalion, entered the Army in February 1953 and completed basic training at Camp Atterbury, Ind.
