LIST OF SERVICE MEN OFMEN ARD COUNTY WHOSERVED IN WORLD WAR IIThe Menard News is printing a book titled “The Free State of Menard,” a history of the county, which was compiled in 1941, and was delayed in printing due to the United States entry into World War II. It is our intention to add another chapter, before completing the book, on Menard’s part in the war and to list every Menard County person who was or is in the armed forces of the United States in the recent world-wide conflict and occuption and we, have compiled as near a complete list as we have been able to do, i and we are printing it on this page of The News.If you know of anyone who has been left off this list please let us know at once so that we can get the name or names added to make the list complete for printing in the book early in March.
