Holecek, Jr., of Wallis, has become one of the nation’s first 1 soldiers to take part in field exercises testing the Army's new “pentomic battle concept.The pentomic tactical plan j features streamlined units with meat mobility and firepower able to meet the needs offarePFC Holecek is serving as Senior Rifleman in Troop “B” of the 4th Infantry Division’s 2nd Reconnaissance Squadron 8th Cavalrv. The 8th Cavalry took the part of a simulated “Aggressor” force in the tests at Fort Lewis, Washington.The 4th Division, famed for its fighting record in World War I and II. was reorganized as a pentomic outfit early last year.
