1 Trouble in the Ninetieth Regiment*The Ninetieth Regiment, of Brooklyn, under the command of Col. Joseph Morgan, appears to bo in a bad way. There seems to be general dissatisfaction with the course pursued by the eolo nel Commanding and Government should at least inquire into the causes of complaint. A uoinmir nication, dated Key West, Feb. 20, 1863, signed by the following named officers—every one of whom is well known in this lt;Tity—was received by us this morning. The document sets forth— That the officers of the UOth Regt. N.Y.S.V. “this day (20th Feb.”) tendered their resignations in eonsequenee of their inability to conscientiously I carry out au order which virtually Swages war I against unoffending women and children and I known Union citizens of this Key—imitating as ] It does that kind of warfare that has cast on our I enemies tlie stigma of all civilized nations. While I regretting to be obliged to take this extreme mea- \ | sure, they throw themselves and their actions I open for the consideration of their friends at 1 home, knowing that they will not entertain for I one moment a doubt of their patriotism or their I loyalty to this Government.”I The following names are appended to this do.I eument:I Captain A.
