Tills oh with the injunction to protect and preserve it* *Col. Tillsoh's reply upon receiving the flag wii •very way worthy of a soldier, and he concluded by pledging for his command that the beautiful banner of our country which had been placed in bis hands should ever be honored, and although It might pot return to Quincy as beautiful as when, it deft, it should be still more resplendaut with th8 brilliant achievements of victory.After.cheers'/or the 10th by the citizens as the first 111.
