He has served in the military for 16 years.He is the son of David D. and Barbara A. Sturkol of Harrison St., Wakefield, Mich.His wife, Bobbi, is the daughter of Herbert Habersetzer of West Bend, Wis., and Marilyn Giackino of Black River Falls, Wis.Sturkol graduated in 1987 from Wakefield High School, and received an associate degree in 1989 from Gogebic Community College, Ironwood, Mich. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2002 from Park University, Parkville, Mo.
