Major Bowen assigned to West CoastI Major Earl T- Bowen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. Bowen Sr.. of Dorithan Road in Baltimore, has been assigned to the Tactic-ai Systems Suooort Group, Van Nuvs. Calif.A graduate of Morgan State College, the major joined the global Command this month fol-lowing assignment with Headquarters. U.S. Army Forces in Vietnam as a fire suonort coordinator.He is a career field nr- • tillery officer and has served as battalion training officer for the 5th Battalion, 27th Artillery, and commanded the 2nd Battalion, £4th Artillery, both units located in Vietnam.Among his awards and decorations. Major Bowen wears the Bronze Star Medal (w/Oak Leaf Cluster). Armv Commendation medal (w/2 Oak Leaf Ousters) and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry (w/Bronzc Star).Major Bowen and his wife, WBhelmina. and their three children, are residing in Northridge, Calif.
