Six From AreatEnlist In ArmySix enlistments in the Army were reported Tuesday by Sgt. l.C. John W. Johnson of thecI1Army Recruiting Station in LaCrosse.iSent to Ft. Leonard Wood, j Mo., for basic training were: Lawrence E. Leibl, son of Mr. 1tand Mrs. Sylvester E. Leibl, R. 1, and Marlin F. Dunlap, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rex G. Dunlap, both of West Salem; Dominic L. Pogreba, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Pogreba, Independence; Peter J. McGillivray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Mc-Gillivray, Black River Falls; and from La Crosse—Sven F Midelfort, son of Dr. and Mrs. Christen F. Midelfort, Ebner’s Coulee, R. 2, and Elmer A. Rhode Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.Elmer A. Rhode, 1040 Birchview Road.Dunlap chose a four-year enlistment, the balance of thegroup three years each.
