90 Quechans in Armed Forces to Be HonoredThe dedication .service in honor of the 00 Quechnn Indiana to in-hold Sunday in the Yuma Indian Methodist Mission will bo opened to the public, it was announced today by Kev. A. M. Krahl.The aervice at the miaaion will begin at 11:30 o'clock with the playing of the carillon chimes through the loud speaker system, to he followed by organ music by Benny DcCorac. Edmond Jaok-aon, president of the Quechnn Indian council, will bo a speaker Chnplain W E. Kirstettar of the Yuma Army Air Field will give the address of the day.The service flag to lo unfurled already has 02 blue stars, at one time it was thought necessary to change one to gold for Peter Flame who is now reported a prisoner of war in the Philippnts. Peter Flame was one of the first men to receive the Distinguished Service Cross at the hands of Gen. McArthur on Bataan. Godfrey Miguel, another Yuma Indian holds a Purple Heart medal, while many others have received honorable mention for gallant service. The Yuma Indians are to bo found in all branches of the service and in all parts of the world from cold Alaska to down under” in the South Pacific.
