Dumber “SlarShot Down(her IHenderson Heninger has just re-1,ceived a tetter from Mrs, Lina Spink the mother of one of the bomber crew that was in Afton for WilfordHeninger’s funeral.Mrs. Spink writes of her son On Thursday his wife and I each received a letter from him written on February 4 and on Friday his wife received the mesage, “missing in Action over France since Feb. 5The crew of the “Star Valley” received the air medal on January 25 and Win sent me a picture of the crew taken January 27. All looked so fine and well. We are not giving up hope and we, the families of this fine crew, are sure we’ll have good news one of thesesoon.”In a previous article we told ofthe crew naming their bomber “Star Valley” in honor of Wilford Heninger and because they were so pleased with the people of the valley when they visited here.
