Cousins Met in New Guinea RecentlyPfe. Norman McClure and Cpl. Samuel McClure Say It In “Hot” There.'‘Mosquitos are terrific and the weather Is ‘hot,’ ” write Pfc. Norman McClure and Cpl. Samuel McClure, cousins, who recently rejoiced when j they met in New Ouinea. Pfc. Mc-IClure served six months In Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, before going to New Ouinea. Cpl. McClure landed In Australia sometime during November, 1943, and was later moved to New Guinea.Corporal McClure, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam McClure of Mooresvllie, entered the Army September 30, 1942. He received his basic tratn-I lng at Ft. Sill, Okla., and Ft. Meade,Maryland.A son of Mr. and Mrs. BurnettMcClure of Breckenrldge, Pfc. McClure went into the service In June, 1941. Ft. Leonard Wtod and Camp Forest, Tenn, were camps where this soldier received his basic training.Both boys were stationed at Need-j les, Calif ., for desert training, but at different times, and both boys areconnected with the QuartermasterCorps,
