Two events, however, broke the monotonous routine somewhat. The first of these was the living flag exhibition on Frlduv afternoon. This was certainty an inspiring and patriotic sight !« consisted of J20O school cl,iWren dressed in red. white and blue and s. arranged on r. rni-cd platform as to represent the rolors of the flag. Just where it will move to is hard to say, but in pH probability will go to Clilckamaugui. Tuesday the rumor was started that it was the Phillplnc Inlands but to far no order has cone to change the previous assignment of the r -g-nionl. Still it may cmr.o at the Iasi minute ami the destination be changed.Uumpany K NotesThe boys of Company K nro getting along very nkely and enjoying very good health. The measles arc still with them, however, for Sunday Private IkJniond, of Whiltenw-e, Came down with them. Ho is getting along nicely and will be able to be with the company in n few uaja. Murk Ilcfley and Sergeant H. C. Armstrong were indisposed for a couple of days with severe colds; but aside from these cases the boys have all been able for their regular rations three times a day.The boya of company K came out of the physical examination in fine shape. Out of seventy-six examined only six failed to pass on the final examination. These were J. L. JJun-cun and S. It. Stcdman of Emmetr.-hurg, on account or cye-sight. F. A-I’ricn of Ruthven. Harry Soper of Estbervillo and a couple of fallows by tho names of Oitcnon and Bend-o-r Clifford Martin, of West Uend was also turned down because Jie lacked a few pounds in weight.Tho examining surgeons paid (hill y. quite a compliment.
