*FULL MILITARY HONORS were accorded Mount Prospect’s first Viet Nam war casualty Friday, as funeral services for Pfc. Frank F. Gagliano, 21, were held in Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Arlington Heights. The soldier was killed in combat shortly after returning to the war from a 30-day leave to see his two-month-old son, Steven. Mrs. Cheryl Gagliano, 20, the widow, reversed an earlier ban on a military funeral reportedly imposedby the soldier’s family and ordered a full military funeral for her husband. Entombment was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Survivors, besides the widow and son, include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Gagliano, Mount Prospect; a sister, Mrs. Annette Re, Hanover Park, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gagliano.by Paul Sequeira)(Staff Photos(BIO
