I Viuule Noldier*.A girl in the uniform of the United States army, was arrested in Cincinnati on Sunday night, on a charge of vagrancy. She called herself Sophia Thompson, and said she had served three years in the 59th 0. V. I. She was before the Police Court Monday morning at which time her case was taken under advisement. Last Monday a person called Joseph Davidson, was presented, who enlisted in the Veteran Ar. my Corps, after showing a discharge which stated that the be«rer had also served three years in the 59ih 0. V. I. Duringthe examination it was discovered that this would-be soldier was of the femalr sex, and that her father had been killed a* her side at Chickamauga, The descriptive roll seemed to have been made for her, and so far as could he learned there was no itiison why diould not join the Hhihn civ Corps, save tic triloitunate fact that she v.as a 'Woman.
