Army Spec. 5 Heyburn Owen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owen, 8336 E. Weldon, has been awarded the Bronze Star for “meritorious service in ground operations against hostile forces” in Vietnam.Owen, a Scottsdale High graduate, served in the Secret Service and electronics in Vietnam for a year, until January. He currently is stationed at Ft. Huachuca.Scott E. Mills, son of Mrs. Dorothy Mills, 4701 N. 68th St., received his second lieutenant’s commission and bachelor of science degree upon graduation from the Air Force Academy. Colo.Robert M. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Jones, 7525 E. Hubbell, received a citation as the outstanding trainee of his company following completion of basic training at Ft. Ord, Calif. He is stationed at Ft.
