Deadmond attended the San-M doval High School and was employed by J. C. O'Conner prior to entering the Army in August of 1944. He is the son of Harry Deadmond of Sandoval. His wife, Mrs. Alice Mae Deadmond and sons Gary and Evan reside in Sandoval. This 38th Division soldier holds the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with one campaign star, and the Philippines Liberation Ribbon. He embarked for overseas in February, 1945.:
