Va., waskilled in France last week. A telegram was received by his family on last Friday morning and a later advice has been received confirming the sad fact. He was a son of Wm. Dean and a brother of Mrs. A. V. Osborn, of Ft. Gay.He was 34 years old and had enlisted in the army when the trouble with Mexico began. This was a little more than two years ago. He went to Mexico and remained about a year. In June, 1917. he was sent to France and from reports received it is believed he had been in the thick of the fighting since the first of March.
