Va., waskilled in France last week. A telegram was received by his family on last Friday morning and a later advice has been received confirming the sad fact. He was a son of Wm. Dean and a brother of Mrs. A. V. Osborn, of Ft. Gay.He was 34 years old and had enlisted in the army when the trouble with Mexico began. This was a little more than two years ago. He went to Mexico and remained about a year. In June, 1917. he was sent to France and from reports received it is believed he had been in the thick of the fighting since the first of March. He was never married.This is another case which brings the war home to us and there will be others coming right along. We must be prepared for ill
