In the second draft lottery held atWashington today, 1,200 key numberswere used and numbers from 1 to 106affected this county, there being thatmany registrants here. Of the 106who registered only two failed to receive registration numbers, Leslie X.McMillan and Cecil C. Walker. Theseyoung men registered by mistake atthe voters’ registration headquarters and their names did not reach the local conscription board in time to get registration numbers. In the event tjhat they are given registration numbers 105 and 106 respectively, their names will be placed in the list where the blanks are seen.The local conscription board has received no orders regarding the serial or order numbers of registrants. The board was instructed to send a list of the registrants and the registration numbers.In the first ten numbers drawn four Decatur county men were drawn as is is shown by the list.
