Oxnard, recently completed a Western Pacific deployment aboard the guided missile destroyer USS John Paul Jones, home ported at San Diego.He participated in various training exercises, and took part in the evacuation of South Vietnamese refugees during the seven-minth voyage.Amon visited Hawaii, Guam, the Philippines.
