Former Perryan Conrad Boterweg Exec. YearMajor Conrad Boterweg, III, Adjutant General’s Department of the U.S. Army, has been named 1975 Word Processing Executive of the Year by the Modern Office Procedures magazinepublished in Cleveland, Ohio. Major and Mrs. Boterweg were in Toronto last week where the award wasConrad Boterwegpresented at the annual symposium of the International Word Processing Association.Major Boterweg, as Chief of the Word Processing Branch of the Army, spent, with his staff, two years investigating all possible methods andequipment and recommending procedures to guide Army administrators throughout the country and the world in setting up their own programs. This project included psychological studies eluded psychological studies of attitudes of secretarialpersonnel, costs of equipment and environmental effects.Major Boterweg is the son of Mrs. Leita Boterweg of Perry and attended Perry schools. He is a Business Administration graduate of North Georgia College andreceived his Master’s degree at the University of Georgia. He served two tours of active duty in Viet Nam. He is married to the former, fat Adams of Perry and they we with their two children, Scott and Catherine, in Springfield,Virginia.4-H'ers To HoldRallyPerryThe 4-H Club will hold their First Perry 4-H Rally on July 1.
