Marine Sgt. Carl T. Shank, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Shank, 232 Bellview Avenue, Hagerstown, is taking part in the am* phibious training of Naval Academy midshipmen, by the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Regiment o( the 2nd M«itie-Dhdsionr at-Nnrfnlk, V*.The battalion departed from Camp Lejcune, N. C.f June 7. During Ihe month long exercise, the! members of the battalion will instruct the midshipmen and demonstrate amphibious warfare techniques, weapons and leadership.
