Three area men have receiv* ed the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service in the line of duty in Vietnam. They are Sp4 David C. Rundle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ru.ndle, Clifton; Sgt. Melvin 0. Lindeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver T. Lindeman* Menlo, and Sp*4 Paul E. Hignite, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Hignite, Hays. -Rundle was cited as a soils an-, alyst with the 79th Engineer Group near Long Binh. Linde-%man was cited as a driver with the 9th Infantry Division near ‘Ben Luc. Hignite was cited as a rifleman with the 4th Infantry Division near Pleiku.
