PROMOTIONS AT FORT REVEALEDSeveral Enlisted Men GradedPORT BROWN — Several promotions have been announced for members of the Cavalry band stationed at Fort Brown.Staff Sergeant Franz Roman received a promotion to the rank of Technical Sergeant. Roman entered the Army at Houston, where he had been a member of the Houston Symphony orchestra. Sergeant Roman has also been a member of the San Antonio Symphony orchestra and of other orchestras throughout the United States. The oboe and clarinet are his musical i specialties.Sergeant William O Boardman. Jr., was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He is from Mineral Wells and plays the drum and other precussion instruments with the Cavalry band.PFC William W Chancellor. Jr . j was also promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Sergeant Chancellor is from Dallas, and attended A. A: M. College at College Station. He plays the saxophone in the Cavalry band at Fort Brown.PFC Joe Gutierrez received his promotion to the rank of Sergeant. He is from Houston and plays the clarinet mith the Cavalry band at Fort Brown.
