WoundedSp/4 Michael Jarvis, 22. son of Mr and Mrs. Donald Jarvis Sr., 7954 29th Ave.. was wounded in action in Vietnam on June 12, while serving with a unit of the 196th Infantry Brigade near Chu I^ai. It was the second time Jarvis was wounded. As a result of his wound, the specialist received his second Purple Heart Medal.
