Sullivan Post, American Legion, Has ElectionSULLIVAN, Ind , June 21.—*Special)— Abram Y. Mercer was elected new commander of the American Legion Post 139 at Its annual meeting. Other officers elected were Ralph Mayfield, first vicecommander; Fred Brown, second vice commander; Sotmer Faugbt, adjutant; J. C. Grtenbarg, finance officer; Charles Parks, service officer; Ed Flath, sergeant-at-arms; Admiral Hoesman. chaplain, and Charles Baughman, historian.Delegates to the state convention to be held at Ft. Wayne June 27, 28 and 29, are Roy O. Thrasher, Don McCullough, Charles Parks, Abe Mercer and Harold Morin. Alternates are J. C. Greenberg, Bob Clarkson, Bert Hawkins, Herman Wright and Ike Pearison.The executive board will consist of the immediate five past commanders, Reece Anderson. Sonner Faught, Charles Parks, Don McCullough and Harold Morin.
