Mass Sung for Edmund MurphyPvt. Edmund Joseph Murphy, 18, who was drowned while swimming at Fort McClellan, Alabama, will lie in state today at his home, 1647 South 15th avenue. Mass will be sung tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Eulalia’s church. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel cemetery.Pvt. Murphy, who left his studies at Proviso high school to enlist in the army, was classified as a member of the Transportation corps. He had been in service since March.' -v_Surviving him are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. Murphy; four brothers, Air Cadet John Joseph Murphy, James, Joseph, Thomas and a sister, Helen. Air Cadet Murphy received an emergency furlough to attend the funeral services for his brother.
