Third Boat—Mildred Winsham, Natalie Moore, Katheryn HawleyjJBeatrtce Quinn, Margaret Daley.CREWS FROM THE LITTLE BUILDING.Not the least Interesting of the many and varied events of the water carnival to be held in connection with Navy Day next Saturday afternoon in the Charles Kiver Basin wiU be the rowing race for women in the service. Women crews from the Navy Yard, kittle Building, Portsmouth Navy Yard and possibly from Newport will race over a half milecourse.The starting line is opposite Fairfieldat. The race will be rowed tiown stream.Am there will probably be three crews of yeowomen from the Little Building, as many more from the Navy Yard and a ood representation from other rta-tions, the race may have to be rowed in heats. In the event of heats, boats willtow the wherries back to the starting line. 'Each crew will comprise four oars-women and a coxswain. The Boston crews have been practicing for someItime to perfect themselves in watermanship ana rythm. Chief Yeowoman Mae G. Nagle will captain one of the Little Building crews and will have the aid of Madge LeCour, Helen Barr and Eileen Keller at the oars, with Kathryn O’Donnell in the coxswain s seat. Other Little Building crews will comprise Eunice Douglas. Helen Jacobson, Mary Warner, Elsie Spear, and Jean Maynard, coxswain; and Mildred Winsham, Natalie More, Katheryn Hawley, Beatrice Quinn, and Margaret Daley, coxswain.Notwithstanding that the girls from. the Navy Yard have enjoyed a slightly longer season than their sisters from the Little Building, the latter are brimful of confidence, and the contest between the representatives of the two headquarters promises to be one of the most exciting of the day.The entries for the wherry race for “women yeomen** closes next Tuesday, as will the entries for the other events, which include a sailing race, cutter race, whaleboat race, punt race and the swimming events for men and womenof the 1st Naval DistrictBOSTON CREWS OF YEOWOMEN GAINING SKILL HANDLING OARS AND WATERMANSHIPKeen Rivalry Between Navy Yard and Little Building—Portsmouth to be Represented and te for Honors
