The British have taken the route to K'ngston. Fort Erie, and Chippawa are ours. The Albany Greens and Baltimore, Blues, with Forsythe’sriflemen* received a handsome complimeotfrom gen. Boyd for their gallantry, who took off bis hat and cheored them, which we return-ed. We hate lost in the whole 17 men killed. The enemy left, upon the field 160 killed, and 60 of their wounded. There wete 4 wrunded in the Albany and Baltimore companies, but none killed/* ±From 5acketi*s-Harbor we learo, that commodore Chauncey arrived at that port with his squadron on Tuesday last. Colonel Backus, wc are happy to learn, was considered in a stateof convalescence*
