Corporal InjuredEnroute On FurloughCorporal John Borcuki, 32, with the U.S. engineers, enroute home to Mokena, on furlough, was cut about an eye w hen the window ot a Rock Island southbound train was broken by a rock thrown through the glass at 115th street.The conductor had the corporal get off at Blue Island and policewere called to take him to a hospital when a cab was not available. at that moment. At the hospital glass was removed from the vicinity of the eye and the wound dressed.The corporal’s remarks about the dangers of civilian life were not quoted.
