Palmer, a radiooperator in the artillery's Battery A. entered the Army in April 1960, completed basic training at Fort Riley, Kan., and arrived overseaslast March. The 21-year-old soldier, son of Mr. and Mrs.Murl R. Palmer, Granger,Mo., is a 1957 graduate ofGranger high school.
