Gayle Reeves Serving With Navy Heavy Attack Squadron In PacificGavle R. Reeves, SN-USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Reeves of Yantis, is serving in Heavy Attack Squadron Sox (VAH-6). He has been assigned to the person-1 nell division of the squadron which ope rates the North American AJ “Savage”, the Navy’s largest carrier-based aircraft. VAH-6 operates as part of the Air Force Pacific Fleet.The Yantis Navy man reported I to VAH-6 on May 16 from San I Diego, Calif.( Reeves is married to the form-, i er Miss Linda Fnddle, who is the 1 daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fnddle of Yantis. ;Reeves entered the Naval Service Jan. 16, 1957 and received his recruit training at the Naval Training Center at San Diego.Before his entry into the Navy, he was graduated from Yantis ,High School and was employed by the Humble Oil Co. in Pickton.
