Rites for Sailor To Be Held FridayFuneral services for Charles L. Albritton, 20-ye-r-old seaman apprentice killed in an explosion aboard the cruiser Saint Paul April 21, will be held at 3 p. m.Friday in the Owens Brum lev Funeral Home, chapel.Rev. C. C. Hooper, pastor of the Jefferson Street Baptist Church, will officiate Interment will be in Ri vcrsjdc Cemetery.Albritton, whose father a n d*stepmother, Mr. and Mrs C. C. Albritton, live at 204-A Lincoln, was born in Vera. Sent 2a, 1931. but had lived in Wichita Falls most of his life.He entered the Navy in May, 1951, and left for overseas in November. He spent 11 days here in October in his last visit at home. Albritton attended Reagan Junior High School and worked at Short’s Pig Stand on Burk-burnett Roar! for about seven years.Survivors besides his father and stepmother include three brother, James C., Billy R. and Ixyal W.Albritton, all of Wichita Falls, three sisters. Mrs. Bet vie Funderburk and Misses Elizabeth andPeggy Albritton, Wiehita Falls; three stepsisters, Mks Claudia Atchley. Mrs. Mary Jo Dennys•4and Miss Sharon Castleberry, all of Wichita Falls, and his grandparents, Mr and Mrs. Jim Albritton, Modesto, Calif.
