During 6 months of overseas th*-ty, he accumulated 257 combat [lying hours in B-17 bomber raids over Germany and German - occupied territories.His decorations include the Air Medal with 5 Oak Clusters.After World War 2, be married ihe former Phyllis Stafford of Detroit. Mich., and got a BS degree in electrical engineering from the Lawrence Institute *of Technology.
