One in California, One in New uuineaPVT. \V. D. SHAWSGT. JOHN F. MORGAN IIIA recent furlough visitor to Wichita Falls Pvt. W. IV. Slinw, whose wife lives at 2205Taft and who is a .son-in-law of Mrs.J. Frank Morgan Jr.. 2205 Taft, has returned to duties at Fort Ord, Calif. Private Shaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guerin Shaw of 306 Sixth, is a graduate of the high school here and was employed by the Missouri-Kansas-Texns Railroad and at Sheppard Field before entering the service six months ago, taking infantry basic training at Camp Roberts, Calif. Morgan** son, T. Sgt. John F. Morgan III, is a ground crewman of the AAF somewhere in New Guinea. Sergeant Morgan attended high school at Sweetwater and Wichita Falls and after one year at Texas AM College worked as an aircraft mechanic at Duncan and Brooks Fields. He entered the AAF in September, 1942, and lias hern inforeign service one year.
