Navy Discharges For 3 NevadansThree recent Nevada discharges have been announced by the U. S. naval personnel separation center at Shoemaker, Calif.Donald N. Furchner, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Furchner of 1580 Plumas St., Reno, served aboard the USS Zellars almost two years as machinists mate 3/C, winning the American theater ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with bronze star and victory medal.Joseph N. Waugh, SK 3/C. also of Reno, joined the navy in October, 1944, was stationed at Okinawa, and won the Asiatic-Pacific and victory awards.Allen D. Collins of Schurz en- j tered the navy in February, 1944. serving for more than a year aboard the USS Alderamin as a seaman 2/C. His ribbons include the Asiatic-Pacific, American theater and victory.
