Miss Elsie Hamblin, aye 18, who resides at the Children’s Home and will be a senior at Hamilton High school next vVar, has received official com-ft* ymunication from the office of the adjutant general in Washington reading as follows:“Private Joseph R. Hamhlin is heing carried on the records of the war department as missing in action in the Philippine islands since May 7, 1042, mid will retain this status until informed to the contrary. “Members of the Hanthlin family, including Joseph and Klsie, were admitted to the Home for care about 10 years ago.
