Found on ftttlefield.Dr. B. F. Sherbourne, an old U. S. soldier living at Alamo Beach, Tex., has a small Bible picked up on the Chickamauga battlefield, October 19th. 1863, and says he would gladly return it to the owner or the owner’s relatives if so desired The following is written 011 the fly leaf:“Bellbuckee, Temn., May 27, ’63, Christopher C. Marsh, 4th corporal, Co. D., 13th Regiment Arkansas Volunteers, Sidell’s Brigade, Cleburne’s Division, Hardee’s Corps, Army of Tennessee. Residence in Woodruff county. Ark., Cotton Plant post office.”Will you please publish above as this book might be highly prized by the owner or some loved one whomight see this T. J. Estes,Alamo Beach, Texas. ,
