neers of Guernsey county. lie was a man of wonderful physique which enabled him to endure the hardships of the pioneer days. The most of his life was sneot in this county, where he learned to till the soil aud successfully carry on farming. He was a man of strong convictions and always delighted in r ight doing. He was a member of the Cambridge First U. P. church, having united with that church many years ago. In his dea^h Guernsey county has lost a highly respected citizen and his children a kind and indulgent father. Since the death of his wife which occurred May 4, 1901. Mr. Beggs made his home with his son, John T. Beggs, and family, where iD his declining years and last sickness he received the best of attention that was possible for affectionate children to give a fond parent. The funeral took place on Saturday from his late home at. 10 o’clock and was largeiy attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. McFarland and Rev. Mr. Nash. Interment was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Jefferson townsh’p.Stephen B. Linkhorn
