He writes, I T *1 have been in Rennes for about five months now. We left the States' in October arid crossed to England 1 on the West Point in seven days.! We were in England several weeks and then crossed to le Harre France. There surely wasn’t muchleft, of that place. Some of threecities haven’t a thing standing and end there were plenty of land mines around there in northern Prance* It cold too and we didn't have any heat. After seven days there we left on Christmas Day and rode five days on hag cars* That was really cold.Rennes ts a good sdied-jrfty and hs* a nke park. We have lots off enUrtiaxnent, USO shows, dances, and movies though they axe mostly [ •Id ones and they get the reds mixed. We have been having good focal, fresh eggs for breakfast nearly every morning and even some ice crssza lately.
