We left the States1 in October arid crossed to England on the West Point in seven days, i We were in England several weeks and then crossed to le Harre France. There surely wasn't muchleft of that place. Some of thesecities haven't a thing standing and and there were plenty of land mines around there in northern France. It cold too and we didn't have any heat After seven days there we left css Christmas Day and rode five days m box cars* That was realty cold.^Beanes is a good aie^dty and has a nice park. We have lots off enttrtsinment, USO shows, dances, and movies though they are mostly • dd onea and they get the reds mixed. We have been having good Sbcd, fresh eggs for breakfast nearly every morning and even some Recream lately.
