Mildred KielMildred (Betty) Kiel, 73, of DuBois, RD 1 died Sunday at 8:45 p.m. in theMaple Avenue Hospital.Friends may call at the Mohney-Yarger Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. tonight. Rev. Clifford Proper and Glen Clinton will officiate at services from the chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery.Mrs. Kiel was born in Brady Township Aug. 1,1903, daughter of Bert and Catherine Phelps. She was a member of the West Liberty Baptist Church, the church pianist for 40 years, a Sunday School teacher and a member of the West Liberty Church’s Ladies Aid. She was married to Clair (Ted) D.Kiel: he survives.Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Rosalie) Crytser of DuBois, RD 1. Mrs. Glenn (Donna) Thrush of Stow, Ohio; a son William Kiel of Reynoldsville, RD 2; three brothers, Raymond Kriner of DuBois.RD. Rueben Kriner of Big Run and Earl Kriner of Sun City, Fla.: four sisters. Alice Pottinger of Harrisburg. Dorothy Whiteman of Lakeland. Fla., Mary DeLarme of DuBois, RD 1 and MarthaBeck of Sykesville; four grandchildren and a great grandson.
