June 13.—General Pershing is reporting an ever increasing casualty list, to the war department.Wednesday. 127 names were included on tKe casualty list and Thursday there were 188 more names added to the list of the country’s martyrs.These are divided as follows: Thirty-four killed in action; 18 died of wounds; two dead from airplane accidents; twenty dead from accidents and other causes; one hundred and ninety seven wounded severely; seventeen wounded (degree undetermined); five missing in action.Captain Leonard K. Hart, Shawnee,O., died of disease, and Lieutenan*Pichar'1 B. Reed. Van Wert, O., diedof airplane accident, according toWednesday’s casualty list. CaptainI on 1 Caldwell. Greenarld, O., wasseverely wounded. No more Ohio of-*fieers were named in Thursday’s lists, however.The W;r God is claiming heavy tribute from Ohio in Wednesday’s casualty list for the first time, Ohio officers have met the supreme sacri-of martyrdom on the plains of Picardy The two officers namedabove arc among the first officersfrom Ohio to be killed in France, and the above list also includes one other Ohio officer who is among those se verely wounded.The following is the list of Ohio boys named in both the casual lists of Wednesday and Thursday. Twelve boys were listed Wednesday, besides the three officers mentioned ana Thursday 13 more names were added the largest list since the beginning of the war.
