Navy has been graduated from nine weeks of recruit training at the U. S. Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, 111. and acted as the Recruit Chief Petty Officer of his company.McNeal, son of ivfr. and Mrs. William A. McNeal of 551 Huron St., South Haven, was selected as RPOC by his instructors. com-Urpany commander and shipmates.-.V VHe. was chosen on the basis of high initiative, outstanding leadership ability, military bearing, appearance and attention to duty.Upon graduaton, the young bluejacket was granted a 14-day recruit leave.
