Killed ISy Li«htnin«-.Special Correspondence of The Landmark.Troutman, June 11.—Jiussell Lucky,a colored man aged 21, was struck bylightning and killed at the railway station Saturday evening at 7 o’clock. He was standing near the door of the colored waiting room when an isolated bolt of lightning darted down, slipping under his khaki armlet and out his heel, lie expired in two minutes.(A. note from The Landmark’s Barium correspondent /ays the man’sname was Russell Smith and that he was a son of Emma Lucky of Barium.)
