FORT LEE, Va. - Army Pvt Walter E. Mauthe, son of Mr. ardMrs. Walter W. Mauthe. Route 2, Sligo, Pa., graduated from the heavy equipment repair course at The Quartermaster School, Fort Lee, Va.During the course Mauthe was trained to install, adjust, operate and repair heavy equipment utihz ed bv the Quartermaster Corps in eluding refrigeration, baking, petroleum and laundry units. He aisoreceived instruction in carpentry, pipe-fitting, oxyacetylene welding and parts identification.Mauthe entered the Army last December and completed basic training at Fort Knox, Ky.The 20-year-old soldier is a 1959graduate of Keystone Joint HighSchool in Knox.
