This company war• ailed into service, and went to HieMexican border at the time of the Mexican trouble, with Captain Lund-burg in command.BOOTLEGGERS SHOOTTRAINMEN IN IDAHOMONTPELIER, Idaho, June 8.~ Harry Shaver, a conductor, and Ford McCready, brakeman, of Montpelier, were ahoi and seriously wounded earlyihta morning by bootleggers riding on a coal train at Border Siding.Three bootleggers, taking whisky in to Idaho, were caught by Irvin Edwards. a brakeman All three drew automatic pistols and held him up. One snapped his pistol twice in Edwards' ribs, but the cartridge did not explode. Shaver and McCready went to Edwards’ assistance and were shot. The bootlegger* Jumped off the train and unloaded their pistols st the caboose as it went by.Posses are looking for the men at Cokeviiie and Border. None had been arrested tonigbt.McCready and Shaver are in a nos pltal at Mont peliar.
