Monday ata local hospital. She is survived by her husband, J. P. Van de Venter; a son, J. H. Van de Venter, all of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. John McMillan, of Macon, Ga., and Miss Tillie Newberger of New Orleans, La., and a brother, Sam New'berger of Houston. Funeral services at 3 p. m. Tuesday at the Fogle-West Chapel with Rev. O. P. Kiker officiating. Burial in Forest Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers: O. T. Howard, Sam Bassett, Harry Shine, George Glass, Hugh Delery, and Hunter Wilson.The above was taken from a Houston paper of last Wednesday.
