IK'RNET RESERVE IMT TO TRAIN \T FORT POLK. LA.On Friday and Saturday over 5.000 Texans will start on their wav to Fort Polk. La. to partici-, pate in two weeks of training with the 90th Infantry Division. Burnet's Army Reserve Unit is a member of this Division.I “For two weeks at Fort Polk, t these Army reservists will prepare themselves for any national . emergency by increasing their . military skills with on-the-job . training.” 90th Commander Ma-t jor General Earl Rudder points out.1 This period is to be spent using lt;—!- Mr. and Mrs. L. In addition to the unit in D Burnet and its parent unit in a Austin, the 90th Division has a units in 42 cities in Texas. SBurnet's unit is “B” Battery of o the 730th Field Artillery Batta- n lion and is Commanded by Captain Robert T Woodliff. Capt. u Woodliff moved to Burnet in o February of this year with Texas s Construction Material Co., and t assumed command of the unit on May 1st.
